Granny B’s new arrival

Firstly I’d like to apologize to every one who comment on my latest blog, you wacky lot and to those who have goven me some good likes and names for clematis and for all my PM’s. I will reply in full late, but today I have been rather pre-occupied.

At 2.20 this morning we rec’d at text message to say my son’s partner had gone into labour with their first child, our 3rd g.child.

having been woken my it’s alarm we were unable to go back to sleep.

5.30am saw me walking Sol on a beautiful, misty morning all promised to be well.

7.30 Breakfast….no news

8.30 Coffee….no news

8.45 Cut the lawn….no news

11.00 am…can’t stand the wait any longer…phone son.

nothing yet….

1.00pm epidural administered and labour induced, shouldn’t be long.

4.00pm no news….text again….nothing.

Things must be happening.

7.30 Son phones…things are starting to progress.
