The Designer Gardens

Yesterday was a warm and sunny spring day, so Sol and I jumped in the car and went to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park which is part of the Bretton Park estate. Now I don’t know a lot about art, so those arty sorts reading this must forgive my lack of comprehension in these matters. But the photos that follow I really had to stretch my imagination even after reading the plagues that explained them. So here goes, however before reading I will point out that some of these photos contain the naked male form. Jack had a propensity for racing through the house, barking, baring his teeth and growling at anyone who dared to cross his path. Our lives were turned upside down, days filled with behavioral battles and restless nights with little sleep. We consulted friends, vets and neighbors. Everyone agreed: If this dog is too much work, send him back.

However, as any dog lover could guess, that decision was always deferred when we looked into Jack’s sweet brown eyes. During those rare instances when he was calm, we thought we could detect the Max Jr. we were hoping to find.

Just giving you a heads up in case you don’t see me around for a while…I think the following photos will explain my temporary absence. Due to some very disturbing statements made by Scottish and Youngdaisyd on a previous pic, I have decided to keep a better eye on him as I believe these ‘ladies’ would swoop right in if they had a chance.
