NEW Workshop: Propagating Perennials

Posted by Evelyn Tapscott in Gardening Posts

Do you want to add more shrubs and flowers to your landscape without breaking the bank? Propagating your own perennials is a fun hobby that will reward you with a beautiful ornamental garden for years to come, and at a fraction of the cost!  Once you have the skills, it is easy to do, and less time-consuming than annual gardens.  This knowledge will open you up a whole world of possibilities.  See a pretty flower at your friend’s house?  Ask her if you can take a cutting!  Have a perennial growing that you’d like to multiply?  You can do it!

This hands-on class will cover propagation by seed, cutting/cloning, and division. Each student will take home a flat of cuttings in soil, as well as a tray of sown perennial seeds.

The workshop is held at Love Apple Farms in Santa Cruz, California. Click here for farm directions and a map. If you’ve got questions before you register, feel free to contact us at loveapplefarms@gmail.com.

ADVANCED REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED, EVEN FOR GIFT CERTIFICATE HOLDERS
