The Designer Gardens

Hi everyone, I have been a little busy this last week and a half at Hampton court.
I have been helping Charlotte Murrell build her first ever show garden, along with some other friends from our degree course.

Charlotte won a competition with Wyevale east to build the garden that she designed as she had won the competition.
Wyevale supply the plants and Charlotte gets £5000.00 to spend on materials etc.

The last picture was taken today which is day 8. We have done lots of marking out, lots of digging, lots of sawing and sanding.

The garden is designed to be for a small court yard in the city. It has log walls a wildlife pond and a bespoke circular oak deck to rest on at the end of the day. It will have insect houses and bird tables that have green roofs as well as lots and lots of fantastic plants.

If you are going to Hampton court find Charlotte’s garden in the small show garden area and say hello to her. If you want to say hi to me, I will be there on the Thursday.
